First of all, let me introduce myself: I'm Daniel Peris, co-founder of BUROGU.pro and I've been creating, growing (and sometimes even selling) blogs since 2004. Since then, I've worked a lot (A LOT) with WordPress and done a lot of SEO for all the blogs and projects I've launched. Blogs often have a mix of text, images and multimedia, it’s an interactive and engaging experience for the reader. This medium is versatile and allows for creativity and connection and a sense of community.

The word “blog” is a combination of the words “web” and “log”.

I think a blog was the first content creation tool and one of the most powerful digital marketing weapons. Before blogs existed, it was hard to create, manage and publish text content.

What does a blog look like?

A blog has all sorts of things—text, images, videos, interactive bits—that add to the reader’s experience.

High-quality images can boost blog engagement by up to 94%, making visuals indispensable to excellent content.

The design and layout can be all over the place, but well written blog posts usually have a consistent structure—headers, subheaders, tables of contents, bullet points for readability.

Don’t confuse “website” with “blog”. They are not the same, but they are related.

A website is a broad platform that encompasses many pages that together make up a company or individual’s online presence and services.

On the other hand a blog is a dynamic part of a website or a standalone thing where content is updated frequently, often in the form of posts.
